Contains pharmaceutical grade vitamin C L-ascorbic acid (25% concentration) and 1% pycnogenol to protect the skin against environmental damage while stimulating collagen synthesis to prevent and diminish the signs of premature aging. (pycnogenol is 50x’s stronger than vitamin E and 20x's stronger than vitamin C). pH 3.2 - 4.0

L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) also has a skin-whitening effect, since it inhibits tyrosinase, a regulating enzyme responsible for the production of melanin. You should consider this when using this product with other products such as Lightening Gel or Lightening Gel 10. Consult with your skin care professional for further treatment guidelines.

Pycnogenol contains: Proanthocyanidins (PAC)

It also contains: caffeic acid, cinnamic acid, fumaric acid, gallic acid, vanillic acid, ferulic acid, protocateuhuic acid and taxifolin.

Pycnogenol is a mixture of simple bioflavonoids of the PAC family plus dimers of these PACs, plus oligomers of these simple PACs. It is a patented product and is manufactured under a commercial process.

Important functions of Pycnogenol as it pertains to skin care:

• Protects the antioxidant Vitamin C
• Restores elasticity and smoothness to skin via its influence on skin protein formation.

IMPORTANT

This product should be kept refrigerated for 48 hours prior to opening. Open very slowly and allow to breath by placing product in cool climate with lid left loose for approximately 1-2 hours. Keep out of sun and DO NOT shake, as this will create air and induce instability in product. Please follow the directions of your skin care professional or recommended usage but be aware that infrequent usage combined with a natural process called oxidization can and does create air inside the bottle. The air inside the capped bottle creates pressure which can create a phiz like sound upon opening as the trapped air is released and at times cause the product to rise out and spill over. This is a natural side affect of the active ingredient L-ascorbic acid at such a high percentage. If and when this does happen, remove cap and place in refrigerator for another 48 hour period. The prescribed action of using this product daily allows air to escape on a daily bases as the process of oxidation persists and in most cases eliminates the build up of air inside the tightly sealed bottle.

Method of Use
Place 2 drops in the palm of your hand and smooth over face, neck and decollete, gently press until absorbed. To be used in the mornings only before moisturizing & sunscreen. Use within six months of purchase.
